Accept Maestro/Switch

While Authorize.net is good for accepting payment, it’s typical of an American company ignoring the requirements of users outside the USA, even after all this time. The most widely used debit card in Europe is Maestro, formally Switch, and Authorize.net does not accept it. American Express, which is not the well known in Europe, is accepted, so why not Maestro when there are likely far more users of the card? Paypal does accept Maestro and can even be linked to each countrys bank account, but as stated on the payment gateway information, it is not as smooth a process as using Authorize.net |

Ian, we have no control over what Authorize.net does. I’ve considered integrating PayPal Payments Pro, or Google Checkout, but I was unaware either of them accepted Maestro. Since PayPal does, that might give them the edge. |
