Is there any way that you could make the invoice emails unbranded? For some of my clients I want to send them the invoice pdf but I don’t want to give them access to the site or know about it.

Possibly. This might be a nice paid feature that could be added after HTML/CSS estimate and invoice templates.

I suppose doing an email template might not be out of the question. I usually prioritize features by how many times I hear customers request them. If you can drum up some support for your cause it’s more likely to happen ;)

Allow me to step up and request email customisation as well!

Things are working just fine for now though, Invoice customisation is more of a priority for me. If need be I can email them manually and change the client email address.

I’m not a paying customer of Cashboard yet. I have been filtering between my shortlist consisting of Cashboard and Freshbooks for the last couple of months as I gear up to launch a business in 2008. (Cashboard is slightly ahead BTW ;-) )

I’d put my hand up for this mod, and would happily pay a small premium to give my clients the illusion that I have my own serious online billing management system. In fact, it would probably be a turning point for me picking a solution once and for all (depending on the implementation)

To the same end, there are a couple of other ideas that have hit me during the course of testing your system. But I’ll post them elsewhere to keep this one on topic.

I concur! This would be a really excellent leg up for Cashboard, cause you’ve already got the PDF invoice worked in so nicely. Unbranded emails/Invoice template customization would be near the top of my feature requests! But please don’t make these features out of reach, pricewise!

I’d still like the email templates sometime soon! with no branding of course!

I’d also like to see an email template. It would enable me to send my emails in french.

I’m currently looking into what it would take to make this happen…more to come…
