Hi Seth! Is there anyway using the new liquid templates to get the sales tax info to show up in the downloadable csv file on our ledger? I need to be able to get to that info and I can’t see how that is possible yet? We are collecting the info as we can check the box to calculate it on our invoices. Do you have any thoughts?

Hey Tracy – liquid templates have nothing to do with our downloadable CSV output – only the PDF output.

If I understand correctly, you’re just trying to get the sales tax info on the CSV download? I can tell it’s tax season, everyone’s talking about tax-related items ;)

I’m planning a quick sweep of the application to look over all things tax-related next week, this is something I believe makes sense to add.

Thank you for the clarification. I thought that was the case. Yes, I need to be able to pull a date rate and all the sales tax I collected for the year. It would make sense to have the downloadable csv file grab that info from the system, but whatever you can do to make that info available to us would be great. Thx. Trace

Oh by the way, thought you might enjoy knowing that my bookkeeper has said that once we have access to the sales tax I can stop the double entry accounting and it will cost me 1/2 of what I normally pay to have my bookkeeping done! Can’t wait to see a Quick Books sync sometime this year so that I could cut my cost to ZERO (smile). Thx for a great product! Trace
