This function is not working for me.
It appears (below the field) when i save the invoice, but when i make a new one it re-starts at 00001.
Any one have the same problem?

When Making a few invoices the same day for the same client, they don’t appear by number but just ramdom.

Anthony – it is supposed to increment in a smart fashion. That’s definitely not the expected behavior. I’ll be looking into this sometime this week.

It’s been awhile, but this is finally fixed properly. Will be rolling into production week of March 3rd.

You should be able to use any letters as a prefix and it will intelligently increment. Underscores and dashes are valid as well.
