I went with Applied Merchant Systems because they were recommended by Subimage. Now that I’ve actually started to catch up on reconciling my account I’m shocked to find that I’m paying 4% of each transaction + other fees. The devil in this case is in the fine print, where they tack on nearly 2% for corporate and/or rewards cards, which is what every one of my clients is paying with. Even PayPal is less than this!

Intuit offers a fixed 2.44% for card not present regardless of card type, but they said that I can’t use Authorize.net as my payment gateway. Can anyone recommend a better credit card processor that does work with Authorize.net?

Any chance that Cashboard will accept other payment types in the future which have a lower transaction rate?’

TIA,

Dave

Dave, sorry to hear that.

I’m working on a partnership agreement with WorldPay right now, so we’ll probably be offering integration with them in the near future.

wow, you’re absolutely right David. I didn’t realize I was paying 4% either with Applied Merchant until now, what a rip.
