Hi,

I have been using your great system for some time now, and I really like it.

Something I thought of today though, was whether it is possible to change the names of the custom fields and I’m just overlooking it. In the case of No, will this be a feature at a point in the future?

While it is perfectly possible to just remember what the contents of the custom field should be, it’s a lot easier to just see what it should contain.

Oh well, I’m here to ask questions and to share. What would forums be for if not requesting or answering? You can only talk so much about how great a certain product is ;)

You could well talk about other subjects of course, but I believe other forums are more suited to that purpose.

Would be interesting to know indeed. I’ve been wondering about this as well. I suspect that my mail client would make it html when seeing tags, though I’m not so sure when seeing Content-Type: text/plain;

Topic: Tips & Tricks / Fullscreen (Firefox users)

Hi,

I don’t know if anybody will use this, but since I have a large monitor I found it quite useful. Especially when editing templates.

There is an extension for firefox named Stylish, which will allow you to change the style of the website you are looking at. I’ve used it to change the style for cashboard.com, resulting in a full width page. I found that that works really well, so I though I should share it.

Because the userstyles.org servers seem to be down I’ll post the custom css right here. I believe pastie is the best way to show code here, so here goes.

Topic: Liquid Templates / Name available?

Hi,

Thanks to your swift response to my previous post, I’ll keep posting here when I have questions ;)

I’ve been wondering whether it is possible to use my own name when sending notices. I’ve tried to edit the estimate template, and have the mail be send with something like “New estimate from {me.first_name} {me.last_name}” however, it seems impossible to find any variables which correspond with those.

Is there a way to add the date of the person logged in, or using the system to do something (like send an estimate) in the email templates?

Topic: Troubleshooting & Bug Reports / Languages?

Hi,

I have just signed up for cashboard, and intent to use it for invoicing from now on. But I’ve been wondering whether the only language the system works in is english. I’ve been able to perfectly translate my invoices thanks to templates, and the same for all other things the templates support. However, when I preview an estimate for example, the agreement checkbox at the bottom contains an english language string.

Now, I do not really mind this, but it’s inconsistent with the invoice being in my own language (dutch). Is there any way to change the language? And if there is not, is there any chance that it will be implemented soon? If a translation does not yet exist I’d be happy to do so.
