Hey Kevin, sorry for the confusion.

The comment UI mentions that comments will be mailed to your clients. Perhaps the text needs to be more clear.

As far as I know the majority of Cashboard customers only input contacts from companies that need to act on invoices/estimates. Instead of overloading the UI or code with additional baggage to support selecting who gets comments via email we just made a gut decision and went with the default that will work for the majority of our customers.
