Also – if a running timer is pulled into an invoice, the clock stops. Just happened to me, here. One employee’s running timer on a particular task was pulled into the invoice, another employee’s was not. The first one’s timer was stopped.

This is false. Running timers do not get imported onto invoices. It’s prevented and very well tested.

So you’re saying the timer is running, then you click the “billable” checkbox, and the timer resets from 0?

I had the same problem last week, but now I still have a related issue. Instead of entries appearing on the day before each time, they are now appearing only on the current day. For example after attempting an entry for last thursday it appears on today.

I’m on an intel iMac with Leopard, and reproduced the issue using safari and firefox.

For Cashboard entries, the items are already summed, so the checkboxes and “merge tasks” things you suggest are unnecessary – and would just be downright confusing. I’ll cut you some slack since you’re new to the program :)

However, I’ll look into summing using todo-item-id from BC for imported entries.

Not sure about 10.5 / widget. I know there were some display issues reported. I personally haven’t upgraded yet, so I can’t test and provide a new version. I’ve been putting off the upgrade until I push out some new features for the app that are more critical.

Don’t need my dev box taken out in the middle of a feature dev cycle – I can’t deal with the downtime. Maybe sometime this month. :)

I’ll have to take a look at that again. Right now it behaves the way it does, because there’s no great way to link all of the time entries.

All that their API returns is a description and todo-item-id field. If we grouped by description there would be no guarantee that’s exactly the same task on the BC side. Could cause some confusion. Perhaps we could use the todo-item-id and group all entries for a particular todo.

Is what you’re seeing basically repeated tasks for the same todo, or do you just log time without applying it to a todo item in BC?
