is there any way to get a list of all client account balances? like /provider/reports/account_balances? or maybe include balance on the /client_companies in the api.

I also reported this. It is still happening to me and i’m on the latest version of Chrome.

The way I can reproduce it is by going to an Invoice then clicking Edit Invoice, once you click save and the little popup window goes away the page just spins at loading forever.

In the status bar it says “Waiting for cashboard.uservoice.com…” every time it happens

Does anyone else see that?

I love the idea of a unique url to automatically login a user. A password could still be in place, but a unique url would always be great for links in emails. My clients, don’t understand why they have to login to pay/view invoices/estimates. They just want to click and go. It would probably also help me get paid faster as they’d have to do less work. Also, they forget their password often.

On the main overview page in the “Projects To Invoice” section, if you drill down on “Time To Invoice” to the timesheet log view and click “Make all entries shown: Billable | Non-Billable” the “Time To Invoice” total does not update correctly on the “Projects To Invoice” screen.

Example: I clicked make all non billable and the time to invoice field said 7:30 hours, which should have been 0 hours. Then I clicked on make all billable and then it said 4:30 hours, which should have been 12:30 hours.

Workaround:
If you go back into the Timesheet view and uncheck/check one of the items the total is correctly calculated and reflected on the “Projects To Invoice” page.

I wouuld also like the billable checkbox on the weekly view. I entered some time there and it took me a while to figure out what had happened. All of my time is billable, so missing one of these checkboxes costs me money. I would personally like everything to default as billable or at least an option.

This is simple enough, but I think I’d still like the system to know that it’s a deposit and hold it. While, I don’t really mind adding an invoice for the deposit, it does create extra work.

I’d also like to add notes to a payment like check number or something.

Actually, it won’t work with a CNAME dns entry just to be clear. You’ll get a “Cashboard Account Not Found.” error if you use a CNAME. You’d have to configure a redirect to get the functionality but then it would still show on the cashboardapp.com domain.

My original intent for this would be so that it would look like it was hosted on my domain, so that customers wouldn’t get confused with cashboardapp.com

I have switched completely from freshbooks. Overall, the things I like about cashboard totally out weigh freshbooks with the exception to the mailing of invoices, which I know and hope that it will be addressed soon.

As far as the UI goes, I would like that certain things be quicker to do, not load. For example, when you try to add time, if you want to add to a project that does not yet exist you have to switch pages and the same goes for tasks and other items. I would like it to be some sort of AJAX approach that lets you add items and go back to what you were doing without switching pages.
