Gotcha…makes sense now. I was unaware Cashboard was even used in this manner. Good to know ;)

Won’t promise anything, as there’s tons of higher priority stuff I’m working on but I will add it to the list of things to consider.

You are aware that there is a weekly PDF export for timesheets right?

If you look at the weekly timesheet view, then change the person you’re looking at time for you can use the “print preview” button, then download a PDF that looks just like the weekly view. That might help you out a little.

Another option would be to include the time entries and person’s name on your invoices. Don’t quote me on this (as I’m not in front of the code at the moment), but I do believe you can access the person’s information for time entries inside of the invoice liquid template.

If you click your client’s name under the Accounting Overview, or Account Balances page you can see all invoices for that client regardless of project association.

I don’t think what you propose makes much sense.

David – there’s actually a conditional in the Invoice Template that tests to see if that checkbox is set on a per invoice basis.

You could remove it if you want it to show for all of your invoices… :)

I use this feature too much actually! Since all of my clients have requested timer details on their invoices, it’s a major PITA to have to do this for every invoice prior to sending. It would be nice if we could have a client preference to receive invoices with timer detail that the invoice would just inherit.

Not sure I understand your question.

The only PDF option we have for Timesheets is the Weekly view, so I’m guessing you’re using this.

That view doesn’t provide you access to notes. However when you invoice there’s an option on the Details tab that allows you to show time entries. This will include the time entry, and note for each in your invoice. You can PDF that and send it to your clients.
